Lisa Bernal

Lisa is a tribal member of the Sisseton Wahpeton reservation in South Dakota. She is currently the Program Manager for the Chicago Public Schools, American Indian Education Program which serves any Native American student enrolled in CPS. She has been engaged in Chicago community organizations for 30 years and serves on several boards and councils. Raised and grounded in her Native heritage she is interested in sharing her experience of Chicago’s rich and diverse cultures.
