There are many ways to get involved in the Chicago Women’s History Center
and support our work.

Being a Member of Chicago Women’s History Center connects you to a group of individuals interested in researching, writing and learning about Chicago women’s history. Your membership dues support the organization's ongoing efforts to research, document, and preserve Chicago women's history.

Members are invited to a two special events each year that activate Chicago women’s history. Members also receive a discount to our annual Conference, a 50% discount on workshops, and free networking events at the Center that are open to all including our Annual Holiday Party, this year on Friday December 12th, 2025!

With your support Chicago Women’s History Center supports archival projects in our community focused on expanding the project Documenting Chicago Women Activists and Leaders, we conduct Oral History Interviews, we support Writing Fellowships to expand the historical record and we host field trips that cover a range of historical periods in Chicago’s history from the Reconstruction Era, First and Second Wave Feminism, Chicago Women’s Suffrage Movement, and much more.
