Yvette Gatilao Murphy

Yvette Gatilao Murphy is a global education and nonprofit leader with 20+ years’ experience advancing inclusive, high-quality learning. She serves as Senior Advisor for Global Education at Childhood Education International, where she has led early childhood and education leadership training programs and flagship events. Previously, she directed Global Advocacy and the Center for Education Diplomacy, serving as UN liaison and growing a worldwide learning community. She also co-founded the Inclusive Education Collaborative, convening donors and stakeholders to advance disability-inclusive education. In civic roles, Yvette was a former board member of the Montgomery County Road Runners Club, where she launched the Inclusion & Equity Committee; she has also served on the advisory board of PicDiversity.  She holds an M.A. in International Education from George Washington University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Yvette was born in Chicago and is the daughter of Filipino immigrants.
