The Chicago Women's History Center is honored to host the second annual conference on Chicago Women’s History at Roosevelt University on Saturday, March 21, 2026. This conference brings activists, advocates, researchers, scholars and writers from our diverse community to participate and engage in a full day of panels, workshops, and discussions dedicated to the historical and contemporary circumstances that impact and shape women’s lives. Last year we explored the theme Past and Present Strategies to Advance the Rights of Women and this year we are looking at the broader theme of Women’s Health Justice.
We invite members of our community to submit proposals that are selected by our community partners. Please note the closing date for Conference proposals has been extended to February 18, 2026 @ midnight. Contributors will be notified by the first week of March, 2026.
Earlybird registration opens on Saturday, February 14, 2026 and includes a full year of membership to Chicago Women’s History Center.
Current members who renewed annual dues on January 1, 2026 or after receive a 50% discount.
RFP Due: February 18, 2026
