Hayley Hawkins is a Chicago-based filmmaker and DePaul University alum (BFA, Film and Television, summa cum laude) with eight years of freelance experience in video editing and videography. Since joining the Chicago Women's History Center in 2019, she has filmed and directed interviews with notable Chicago women activists, managed oral histories and archival materials, and contributed to projects preserving and sharing Chicago women's stories.

Her broader portfolio spans documentary, promotional, and mission-driven media for nonprofits and community organizations, including Community Television Network, the Foundation for Hearing and Speech Resources, and #ICANHelp, where she led content for a Mental Health Awareness campaign. Skilled across the Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve, Hawkins is driven by a commitment to visual storytelling that documents history, amplifies community voices, and makes the past more accessible to diverse audiences.
