We are thrilled to celebrate our 54th Anniversary celebration with our community. For 54 years Chicago Women’s History Center has been dedicated to elevating the contributions of ALL women to the development of the city of Chicago by researching, preserving, and sharing their stories. We are dedicated to empowering each other, enriching the historical record, and engaging future generations in the skills, tools, and knowledge to do this work.
Our commitment to recording Chicago women activists, leaders and organizations continues and we are thrilled to share some updates. We wish to take this time to reflect on our past, present, and future with our community at this upcoming Anniversary celebration.
Our 54th Anniversary celebration will be held at Columbia College Film Row on Thursday, October 23rd. The evening will include a 30-minute Presentation, an Award Ceremony, a Silent Auction, Interactive performances by Catherine Schwalbe and queen of luxuria, music with cocktails and light bites.
